  • About

Using a PVC film, I begin to involve objects in the space, columns, and poles. I create a net linking one object to the other in the space. At a given moment, I stop to involve the space and begin to involve my own body connecting myself with the net. I involve myself from feet to the head, and using a stiletto I open the plastic that covered my mouth in order to allow me to breath and keep involving me with the net until my energy extinguishes and I fall on floor. On the floor I start to tear off all the PVC film tied to my body, disconnecting myself from the net ending the performance.

Me and the Public was my first Performance Art work. In this work I aim to establish a dialog, a connection with the audience through my action. This performance is meant for public spaces and when I start involving the space, I create a tension that amplifies and grows as the plot develops. I involve objects in space where persons are located, but never the persons themselves. When I feel a certain connection with these persons I stop involving space and begin to involve myself connecting me to the web. The tension is transferred from my relation with space directly to a relation with the audience.
